How to create a new page?

After searching, if there is no exact match you will see "create this page". Click on it and you can create a new page with your search key word as page title.

How to create a personal profile?

In MBANerds, you can build up your personal profile so that others can know more about you or contact you for further discussion. Instead of a solid format, every registered user can possess a "my talk" page to compose creative self-introduction. Your “my talk” page is just next to your ID name on the top of each page after you login. 

Why can't I find the page I just edited or created?

Because we use google as our search engine, sometimes it takes time to find your new article or change. You can always find your article through "my contribution".

How to switch between wikitext mode and FCKeditor mode?

MBANerds is empowered by mediawiki. Therefore, this website applies wiki syntax as well. When you need to use wiki syntax, you have to change to wikitext mode. You can either click "disable rich editor" in top of the tool bar or click the  button on the up-left side of the tool bar.

How to share a file?

First, you have to upload the file to the database by "upload file" link in toolbox. Then use the following syntax [ [ media: "full_file_name" ] ] under wikitext mode when editing.

How to insert a picture?

Just like sharing a file, to insert a picture you have to upload the image first.There are two methods to insert the image file:

One is using the  button in the editing tool bar. You can search the image file and select the one you want. 

The other method is using the syntax [ [ image: full_file_name ] ] under wikitext mode when editing.

How to create a hyperlink in the page?

There are two methods to create the hyperlink:
One is using the button in the editing tool bar.  
The other method is using the syntax [  hyperlink  |  text   ] under wikitext mode when editing.

How to categorize a page?

Just simply use the following syntax in the end of your article: [ [category : category_name_you_want ] ]. Then this article will be put into that category.
